ABC Solar opens first Malibu's retail solar design and build studio
by Staff Writers
Malibu CA (SPX) Oct 18, 201

ABC Solar has been serving the Southern California market for 11 years providing alternative energy solutions from best in class manufacturers and has solar installations from San Diego to Napa Valley.

On October 28, 2011 at solar noon, the first step in a long-term campaign to help Malibu residents take themselves off the fossil-fuel power grid, ABC Solar, Inc. announced plans for Malibu's first full-service retail 'solar shopping experience', bringing more than a decade of expertise in sourcing, designing and installing residential and commercial solar power systems in Southern California coastal communities.

"Experience shows that homeowners do not respond to sales pitches by e-mail or telephone because they prefer to shop face-to-face for solutions with established businesses", said Brad Bartz, CEO at ABC Solar.

"We are in business to earn money, but more important to help spread the technology in the quickest, most practical and economical ways possible", Bartz continued, "and as it happens, retail works best".

The new design/build studio, set to open October 28, 2011, is located at 22814 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu, CA 90265, and is the third retail store to open in a growing chain of solar education, energy products and solar power installation service centers in Southern California. Call (310) 541-0015 to schedule a visit.

Palos Verdes-based ABC Solar brings the region's fastest-selling custom solar solutions for grid-tie connection, pools, hot tubs and estate homes with water features.

The firm is a fully licensed, bonded and insured California Solar Contractor and has developed a unique approach to cutting electricity bills for pool, hot tub and waterfall owners.

ABC Solar's fastest-growing division, the pool/spa/waterfall business helps consumers self-generate savings in the thousands of dollars in power bills in the process.

ABC Solar retail presence is also unique in the region's solar industry, as is its personal approach to customized solar solutions suited to beachfront, hillside and coastal estates and commercial properties.

ABC Solar has been serving the Southern California market for 11 years providing alternative energy solutions from best in class manufacturers and has solar installations from San Diego to Napa Valley.

The ABC Solar pool solution takes the circulation, filtration, sterilization (UV) jobs from the AC pool pump. A typical 1.5HP AC pool pump can use 500 kWh a month in electricity, or about $150.00 a month. Breakeven is typically in about four years for solar panels that come with a 25-year warranty.

The Solar Hot Tub kit starts at $999 and includes a 68 watt flexible solar panel, 80sf of solar thermal panels, 12v pump and cartridge filter. The firm's fastest-selling export item, many resorts around the world have initially purchased one kit, then soon order more.
