This collaboration emerged from discussions at the inaugural Space Debris Conference in Riyadh, February 11-12, spearheaded by the Saudi Space Agency. With Eng. Kamal Alharbi leading the agency's space services sector, the initiative aims to elevate the space economy in Saudi Arabia while fostering skills and knowledge in space situational awareness within the Kingdom and the broader Middle East.
Arabsat stands out as a pivotal player in the satellite services industry, offering a broad spectrum of satellite solutions, including TV and radio broadcasting, telecommunications, broadband, and advanced data transmission networks. The company's portfolio extends to internet services catered to the governmental and commercial sectors throughout the MENA region.
The MoU paves the way for collaborative efforts on strategic projects and potential joint ventures, with Aldoria extending its cutting-edge space solutions to Arabsat and its affiliates. This agreement also envisages the installation of Aldoria's sensor systems within an Arabsat member country, a move aimed at reinforcing space security in the Middle East.
Alhamedi Alanezi, President and CEO of Arabsat, expressed excitement over the partnership, highlighting Aldoria's reputation for excellence in the industry. "This collaboration enhances our ability to maintain high-quality service for our global customer base," Alanezi stated.
Romain Lucken, CEO of Aldoria, commended the MENA region's leadership in addressing space safety and sustainability. "Our commitment to delivering top-notch services to the world's leading satellite operators is unwavering, underscored by the demand for our solutions and our role in supporting industry frontrunners," Lucken remarked.
