Cinetcomm, a supplier of global satellite communication services, has entered a distribution agreement with Eutelsat OneWeb to incorporate OneWeb's Low Earth Orbit (LEO) connectivity solutions into its broad network. This collaboration highlights Cinetcomm's ongoing commitment to enhancing connectivity for its varied clientele in critical infrastructure sectors.

For years, Cinetcomm has addressed the connectivity demands of public safety organizations and first responders, offering a combination of satellite and terrestrial networks to deliver essential services. The integration of LEO satellites into its network, alongside FirstNet, LTE, LMR, and Push-to-Talk (PTT) services, is a key part of Cinetcomm's TotalConnex Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) solution. This update ensures comprehensive coverage, reliability, and high-speed performance for their clients.

The Eutelsat OneWeb LEO network, known for its low latency and high-speed capabilities, will improve Cinetcomm's TotalConnex solutions. This enhancement supports fully connected Patrol Cars, Fire, EMS, and Command Vehicles while providing new options for critical infrastructure connectivity.

"Our decision to integrate the Eutelsat OneWeb LEO satellite into our network offerings reflects our commitment to providing best-in-class connectivity solutions," said Tom Soumas, Jr., CEO of Cinetcomm. "With its low latency and high-speed features, the OneWeb LEO network will enable us to deliver high-performance and reliability to our portfolio of customers."

Stephen Beynon, Co-President of Connectivity Business Unit at Eutelsat OneWeb, added, "We are excited to collaborate with Cinetcomm as they integrate the Eutelsat OneWeb LEO satellite into their network offerings. This partnership demonstrates our shared commitment to delivering reliable and efficient connectivity solutions to customers in the US and beyond."

Cinetcomm serves a wide range of clients in public safety and first responder sectors. The company has been actively testing the OneWeb network and has now installed facilities and launched commercial operations in North America and the Caribbean. Its dedication to meeting client needs reinforces its position as a trusted industry partner.
