ET Solar Group Donates PV Systems To Remote Tibetan Villages

ET Solar Group has announced that it has donated multiple PV systems to eight remote Tibetan villages. ET Solar donated multiple PV systems worth nearly one million RMB, which will provide electricity for the eight Tibetan villages.

These villages are located in a remote rural area that is more than 4,000 meters high and not connected to any electricity grid system.

In addition to the donation, ET Solar also performed installation of the PV systems and provided extensive training to the Tibetan villagers to ensure that they acquire sufficient knowledge about the systems.

The company also donated television sets to the villages so that the villagers will be able to follow the Olympic Games.

Chief Human Resource Officer and Vice President of ET Solar, Kevin Huang commented, "While expanding our global franchise rapidly, ET Solar is also very committed to helping underdeveloped Chinese areas with much needed energy supply. This donation is a showcase of our long-term commitment in these efforts. We care and we help."

Hydro Aluminum Teams With Acciona On New Spanish PV Plant

For the second time in three years, Hydro Aluminum's Extrusion Americas unit will supply critical extruded aluminum to Acciona, SA, a Spanish energy company, for use in the world's newest solar power plant.
