GPS Industries (GPSI) - the world's leading provider of GPS tracking technology for low speed vehicles (LSV) used in more than 9.1 million rounds of golf annually across America - has established partnerships with marketing firms 2aTEE and Apel.

With more than 10 years in the golf business, 2aTEE will customize local and regional sponsored content campaigns across GPSI's Visage Media Network (VMN). Apel, which represents companies and properties in the lifestyle segment, will source national partners. Both firms are headquartered in New York City.

The recently-launched VMN represents the largest connected audience of golfers at golf courses, country clubs, resorts and communities. It leverages GPSI's state-of-the-art Visage fleet management system to deliver sponsored content on the golf course.

Hole-by-hole graphics and flyovers, scoring and gaming, on-course food and beverage options, and addressable promotional messages are featured on more than 25,000, 10-inch touch screens mounted to golf carts and other LSVs. Nearly 40 million-plus pages are viewed monthly by golfers.

New applications are being developed to enable golfers to stay connected with their social media and professional networks while creating, managing and sharing user-generated content, including personal golf statistics, photos and video.

"2aTEE and Apel are integral to continuing the aggressive roll-out of the Visage Media Network," says Ben Porter, CEO of GPSI. "Our innovative digital-out-of-home media platform reaches the coveted golf demographic, integrating brand messaging into positive experiences over 4-1/2-hour rounds."

As a revenue generator, golf-facility operators present course information as well as pro shop and food-and-beverage specials to golfers during their rounds.

Visage is prominent at public and private golf courses, including Congressional Country Club, several of the TPC properties such as San Antonio, Las Vegas and River Highlands, Trump National Doral Miami and other marquee properties. Installed in 900-plus LSV fleets, primarily in North America, Europe and the Middle East for an 80% market share globally, GPSI predicts 35% year-over-year growth in 2014.
