Globalstar secures terrestrial spectrum authorization in Mexico

Globalstar, Inc. (NYSE American: GSAT), a leader in next-generation mobile satellite and communications services, announced that its Mexican subsidiary, Mobile Satellite Services Mexico S. De R.L. DE C.V., has been declared the winner of Auction #13 (Licitacion No. IFT-13) by Mexico's Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones (IFT). This auction pertains to the Complementary Terrestrial Service for Mobile Satellite Service, covering the 2483.5 to 2495 MHz frequency band.

Following the completion of the payment required for the bid, Globalstar will obtain a 10-year authorization from the IFT to operate terrestrial services within these frequencies.

Globalstar expressed gratitude for the commitment and thorough efforts of the IFT members in facilitating a successful auction process.
