IContain has announced the debut of ICinside, a suite of RFID, cellular-assisted GPS anti-theft technology products developed specifically for the rent-to-own-industry. ICinside allows RTO dealers to interrupt the power supply on rented merchandise if a customer fails to renew or return.

"The ability to manage consumer-side rental-purchase agreement compliance is significantly enhanced by the ability to control usage of rental merchandise," said Todd Kleperis, president of IContain. "Consider ICinside as the master control unit for the Rent-to-Own Industry."

The software and hardware and hardware-based tools allow RTO owners the ability to monitor, track and control how inventory assets are used by renters.

ICinside discourages theft and allows rental dealers the ability to remotely, with the push of a button, alter the electronic status (enable/disable) on up to 20 separate appliance or consumer electronic items - anything with electricity flowing through it.

IContain's web-based software is the backbone that powers the hardware. The secure system allows dealers to access and manage IContain locator interrupt devices from anywhere in the world with no additional software installation required.

Other product interrupt systems exist on the market that control individual items. With ICinside, RTO dealers use one remote that invisibly controls up to 20 devices from a distant location, offering Rent-to-Own dealers a much lower cost of entry.

ICinside product features include:

+ Remotely access up to 20 electronic devices with the touch of a button. Confirm that the inventory/electronic equipment has been located and turn it on or off based on your criteria.

+ RF enabled for enhanced, penetrating reception

+ Secure codes that operate ICinside can be set and reconfigured by user for re-rented merchandise.

+ Can be installed internally or externally on any electric asset

+ ICinside may be used in addition to other IContain devices for added functionality

The ICinside device is easy to install and with the proper training can be reused multiple times after the first installation in other products.

ICinside also works in the store to turn off the power on all of the TV's at the flip of a switch for a much more energy efficient operation.
