L-3 Communications gets $216 million U.S. Army aircraft contract modification

L-3 Communications Corp. has been awarded a $216 million U.S. Army contract modification for contractor aircraft logistics support. 

The modification covers 12 months of continued support.

Prior contract modifications note the deal is for the Army's fleet of C-12 Huron, RC-12 and UC-35 fixed-wing aircraft.

Work will be performed in Mississippi.

The estimated completion date is July 2017.

The Army Contracting Command is the contracting activity.
