Rogue Space Systems Corporation, a prominent player in the field of space situational awareness and satellite servicing, has achieved a significant milestone by securing its first on-orbit service contract. While the specifics of the contract and the identity of the commercial constellation owner/operator involved remain confidential, this development marks a noteworthy step forward for the company.

Under the terms of this contract, Rogue Space Systems will undertake the critical task of locating and servicing a satellite post-deployment from SpaceX's Transporter 9. This mission encompasses establishing communication with the satellite and conducting essential operations to ensure its functionality.

Rogue's Mission Operations team will work closely with the customer's ground station partner and the satellite bus provider to facilitate this operation. Furthermore, they may leverage imaging capabilities from the currently active Barry-1 mission, which was also deployed aboard Transporter 9.

Jeromy Grimmett, CEO of Rogue Space Systems, expressed unwavering confidence in the company's ability to excel in prime operational missions related to commercial Rendezvous and Proximity Operations (RPO) and Space Domain Awareness (SDA). "Our small size is one of our greatest advantages, allowing us to swiftly adapt and excel in the rapidly evolving new space ecosystem. We're dedicated to forming partnerships and providing support to our fellow space pioneers. This is our core mission," Grimmett stated.

Rogue Space Systems has garnered attention in recent years for its innovative approach to space situational awareness and satellite servicing. This contract reaffirms the company's commitment to pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the space industry.
