SolarBridge Technologies (SolarBridge), a leading provider of integrated microinverters for certified AC modules, announces the introduction of a global PantheonTM II microinverter platform at Solar Power International.

New 50-Hz/230-volt versions will be introduced in Australia and the U.K. in Q4 2012, and in additional markets in 2013. The 50-Hz version adds to SolarBridge's current 60-Hz product line for the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Taiwan and the Philippines.

"SolarBridge customers are the world's leading module manufacturers with a global footprint," said Ron Van Dell, president and CEO, SolarBridge.

"Working closely with them, we have identified Australia and the U.K. as key markets for AC Modules, which are appealing for their reliability, energy harvest, and ease and speed of installation. AC Modules are a perfect plug-and-play solution for many expanding international markets. SolarBridge is the first choice of module companies looking to differentiate their product line and provide more value to their customers."

Australia and the U.K. were the third and fourth largest residential PV markets in 2011 and are projected to grow substantially in 2012, according to the most recent report on the Global PV Inverter Market from IMS Research (recently acquired by IHS Inc. NYSE: IHS).

The Pantheon II is a higher power, more efficient and smaller footprint microinverter that is smart-grid capable and designed to optimize the power output of today's higher power panels.

The Pantheon II product builds on the success of the original Pantheon microinverter, improving all performance metrics and adding new capabilities including 208V/240V autosensing and compatibility with 60- and 72-cell modules up to 280W. The product is well suited for both commercial and residential PV applications.

Also at SPI, SolarBridge adds another module partner to its roster, Eoplly, a global solar manufacturer who will begin shipping AC modules and complete rooftop AC module kits to customers in Q4. Eoplly joins SolarBridge current partners AUO/BenQ Solar, ET Solar, Mage Solar, NESL, Talesun Solar, Solartec Energia Renovable and SunPower.
