Thuraya Telecommunications Company, a subsidiary of the UAE's Al Yah Satellite Communications Company PJSC, has announced a partnership with CYSEC to enhance cybersecurity and encryption for its data service customers.

Revealed at the Satellite 2024 conference in Washington D.C., the collaboration integrates CYSEC's ARCA SATCOM solution into Thuraya's data services, promising unmatched cyber protection. This integration is pivotal for industries requiring reliable and secure data services shielded from the risk of data loss.

Thuraya has validated the solution across its network, confirming compliance with the Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) in the USA.

ARCA SATCOM, designed specifically for satellite data communications, boosts data transmission by incorporating advanced encryption technologies. This enhancement fortifies Thuraya's network, facilitating secure and efficient encrypted data transmission without affecting connectivity or performance. The solution supports various sectors, including government, remote enterprises, heavy industries, utilities, military, and secure IoT deployments, offering flexible encryption options tailored to different satellite network use cases.
