Ukrainian arms deliveries to Georgia a 'crime': Putin
Moscow (AFP) Oct 2, 2008 Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin on Thursday called Ukrainian arms deliveries to Georgia a "crime" in comments after meeting his Ukrainian counterpart. "A more serious crime than arms deliveries in a conflict zone cannot be imagined," Putin said. "Several years ago, we could not have imagined Russians and Ukrainians making war against each other, but that has happened and it's a crime." Putin had earlier hit out at Ukraine for delivering weapons used by Georgia to fight Russia during a brief conflict in August. France satisfied with progress on EU military capabilities
