Aerojet Demonstrates Rocket Propulsion For Ship-Based Gun Launchers

Aerojet recently conducted a series of successful gun-launched projectile tests that incorporated Aerojet range-extension rocket motors. Two short-burn rocket motors and four igniter test vehicles were successfully gun-fired to prove that the rocket propulsion system could be operated successfully in the gun-launch environment.
