JSAT Corporation of Japan has contracted with International Launch Services (ILS) for launch of its JCSAT-11 satellite on a Proton Breeze M vehicle in 2007. The companies announced the deal today at the Satellite 2006 conference in Washington, D.C. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The Sea Launch team is preparing to launch the EchoStar X broadcast satellite on Feb. 8, at the opening of a 49-minute launch window, at 3:35 pm Pacific Time (23:35 GMT).

Arabsat 4A Delivered To Baikonur

The Proton-M launch vehicle to launch Arabsat 4A communications satellite was delivered to Baikonur on Tuesday night. The same day in the morning an An-124 (Ruslan) airplane, with the Arabsat 4A aboard, landed at the Yubileiny airport, in Baikonur.

Kazakh Telecom Satellite To Be Launched In June
