Romania issues flooding red alert on the DanubeBucharest (AFP) July 5, 2010 Romanian authorities on Monday issued a flooding red alert for several towns along the Danube, which has risen to a record level, threatening to cause further damage in the hard-hit country. 21 killed as heavy rain, floods hit RomaniaDorohoi, Romania (AFP) June 29, 2010 Heavy rains caused floods that killed 21 people in Romania and thousands of others were evacuated from their homes on Tuesday as rivers threatened to burst their banks.
