China's AgBank raises 10 billion dollars in Shanghai IPOShanghai (AFP) July 7, 2010 Agricultural Bank of China said on Wednesday it raised 68.5 billion yuan (10.1 billion US dollars) from the Shanghai portion of its initial public offering. The amount included the overallotment option and put the bank on track to achieve the largest IPO on record by raising up to 22.1 billion dollars ahead of its dual listing in Hong Kong and Shanghai, the bank said in a statement to the Shanghai Stock Exchange. NASA's TRMM Satellite Sees Heavy Rainfall In Hurricane AlexGreenbelt MD (SPX) Jul 01, 2010 Hurricane Alex is generating some very heavy rainfall, and the Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission satellite known as TRMM has been calculating it from its orbit in space. As predicted by the National Hurricane Center (NHC) in Miami, Florida, Alex intensified after entering the warm waters of the southwest Gulf of Mexico.
